Paris in 2008

On the weekends when we didn’t have class or court tours, we were allowed to take side trips. A bunch of us caught a train to Paris from Luxembourg one weekend. It was kind of a whirlwind adventure that started with us missing our train, but we made it work.

No offense to my girl Lori who lives in Paris, but it’s not really my kind of city. It’s really pretty gritty by day and the people aren’t incredibly friendly. I will say, however, that there is almost nothing that compares to the Eiffel Tower at night. All of us wished we had boyfriends there with us because it truly is ridiculously romantic. Instead, we had each other 😉  haha … p.s. Did you know the Eiffel Tower sparkles at night??

This was our Parisian crew. Kyle & Greg are some of the coolest guys I know and they were great travel buddies. As I mentioned in the previous post, French wine is good, and ridiculously cheap. So why not just get a bottle each?

Musee du Louvre. We only had a day so we didn’t go in, but I think that’s where they keep the Mona Lisa. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe I read that in The Da Vinci Code.
